#oh my god #look at this #how it starts off with reds and oranges and purples #bright colors #and then it gets continuously darker towards the end #it’s so fitting to the story #and then there is that strip of white at the end #which has to be the king’s cross scene #and it’s just #light #in a dark time #which is extremely beautiful
Every frame of the Harry Potter movies, condensed into a barcode.
you know why theres a white part at the end? because happiness can be found even in the darkest of times
only the harry potter fandom would make me have feelings about color stripes.

O-nigiri: Japan’s gift to the world (because there’s a tasty present in the middle). Why we love it? Because it’s a tasty gift wrapped in glutinous white rice and formed into triangular, square, or oval shape - often wrapped in nori (seaweed - kinda like a bow on a gift). Duh… But I betcha didn’t know that…
- O-nigiri is also known as o-musubi (お結び; おむすび?), nigirimeshi (握り飯; にぎりめし) or rice ball.
- O-nigiri is typically filled with pickled ume (umeboshi), salted salmon, katsuobushi, kombu, tarako, or any salty or sour ingredient as a natural preservative.
- Onigiri is not a form of sushi. Onigiri is made with plain rice, while sushi is made of rice with vinegar, sugar and salt.
While Onigiri may not seem so common at this very moment, we see this simple, but fanciful dish as a rising trend. Give it ‘til this Autumn and you’ll see variations of O-nigiri everywhere!
Happy Foodie Friday!
I know collectively these are all old but I figured I’d just throw these together into a photoset just ‘cause. *o*
